I’m a rape survivor. And these posters kinda piss me off. FIRST OFF,women aren’t the only rape victims. MEN CAN BE AS WELL. They are just less likely to say anything,in name because of slogans like this. Maybe KATE should call KARL,to give HIM an out. And secondly,I’m all for a good time. HELL! I am a good time. BUT — If someone is being irresponsible at a party,then they are saying,“HEY! I GIVE TWO FUCKS LESS IF I END UP IN THE BACK OF A WHITE WINDOWLESS VAN!” Not because of how they dressed. Not because of what they look like. But because they are willing to go past their limits. To KNOWINGLY go past it at that. I appreciate the thought behind this. I do. But at the same time,include ALL victims. Not just the “popular” ones.

Out of 32 kids graduating, I saw 4 baby bumps. That’s over 10%!
Not to mention, some were already mothers, but I couldn’t tell that just by looking at them.

As a mom to a kid with Autism,two with ADHD and one with ODD,it’s a fucking FACT. How do I know? Cause I’m in enough support groups,and I ALWAYS hear how,”WOW! And you had more kids after ___?” So it’s NOT me talking out of my ass or “trying to be funny”. Your aunt is a rare bird indeed. I commend her with the upmost respect as well. I wrote this for NO ONE except my friend. You take it how you want to. I have no control over that. but it wasn’t wrote to offend anyone. It wasn’t written in the spirit of hatefulness. It was written to kinda tell my friend that even if her grass isn’t green,doesn’t mean the grass on the other side is any greener.
The graduation was for a charter type school that allows adults to come back and earn their high school diplomas, along with other kids that have dropped out of regular schools due to pregnancies or other issues. All of the baby bumps I counted were on the younger girls, thank God, but considering the track record of my town, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the older ones were pregnant too.
I appreciate you trying to make me feel better Dragon (as always!) and I can understand where your train of thought was going. I also know that you meant no disrespect towards special needs children or their parents, especially since you are a parent to a special needs kid. My sister is also a parent to a special needs child (my nephew’s were born at 26 weeks; one did not make it, the other has had issues since day 1: still in diapers, can’t walk properly (he’s 5 now), a bit autistic) and I took no offense to your comment. Maybe it’s because I know that while your comments may seem a bit harsh to outsiders, I know how you really mean them :)On a lighter note, I commend you both for not calling each other bitches or dumbasses! You didn’t personally attack each other that that’s a first on the internet!!
I actually like the other girl who commented. Hence the reason I didn’t just say,”suck my metaphorical dick”. I actually cared enough to explain myself. And yeah,it’s why I love you. You know me. I would never. And that’s cool about the school. I wish we had one here! But no no,alas,nothing that awesome is offered!
Ps. I’ve totes been discussing with the husband-man about coming to AZ come Income Taxmus. I’ve also mentioned it to a few friends,who’d be MORE then stoked to meet up in Phoenix and kickass/take names. I see this as a REAL and TRUE possibility.
